Antitrust starts case against Lindt over quality differences
MOSCOW, Aug 25 (PRIME) -- Russia's Federal Antimonopoly Service has initiated a case against chocolate producer Lindt because the quality of products in Russia differs from those sold abroad, the authority said in a statement on Tuesday.
"The Federal Antimonopoly Service has initiated a case against chocolate producer Lindt. Quality differences were found in the chocolate sold by the same brand in the Russian Federation and the countries of Western Europe," the authority said.
The service detected a difference in the quality of the Ariel, Persil products and chocolate Lindt between the Russian and E.U. samples in December and postponed the deadline for elimination of the differences several times since. For Lindt it was set for July 31.
